Benito Mussolini life had began in a small town called Dovia Di Predappio July 29th 1883. Rosa Mussolini and Alessandro Mussolini were his parents, later they had another younger son and younger daughter. Benito’s mother was a catholic where his father was a practicing socialist, nationalist and was a republican. Young Benito Mussolini learned and inherited his fathers political views. Alessandro Mussolini did not believe that the monarchy should exist; he believed that Austro-Hungarian Empire should fall leaving Italy under Italian rule. These views have shaped the way Benito Mussolini has lived his life. During his life he had several different lovers. First wife’s name was Ida Dalser whom later carried his son Benito Albini. Mussolini later married Rachele Guidi, she conceived three of his children, one daughter Edda an three sons Vittorio, Bruno and Romano. Within his life he had many accomplishment including the creation of fascism and becoming the first Marshal of the Empire and Prime Minister of Italy later known as Duce of the Italian Social Republic. Also he led Italy into World War Two with strong force. Although in the end Mussolini’s army collapsed. He was voted out and arrested on King Victor Emmanuel’s orders. April 28, 1945 he was executed along side his mistresses last Clara Petacci. Benito Mussolini has made a large revolutionary imprints on history and will always be known as the fascist dictator of Italy.

Mussolini's EarlyYears
As a young man, Benito Mussolini joined the socialist movement and worked for the cause. Mussolini had traveled to Switzerland working as bricklayer and joined a trade union. He was later thrown out of Switzerland for trying to create a strike in 1903. He left and continued to work for the socialist movement in Italy. In addition to working for the movement, he was a writer and journalist for several different socialist papers including the L'Avvenire del Lavoratore ("The Future of the Worker"), Il Popolo ("The People") and Avanti (Forward). He was deported again because of his revolutionary ideas aginst the monarch and suggesting a stand against them. He later returned due to an illness within the family. while on his young escapades, he married Ida Dalser and had his first child. Later That same year he was called on for active duty in the military in 1915. His short military career, lasted a little over nine months of surviving front-line trench warfare. He was finally discharged from the military due to several different wounds. After recovering from his physical war wounds he went back to working as a journalist. Working as an active socialist he was noticed to be a revolutionary mind, he was promoted as the editor of Avanti. In October 1915 he left Avanti and joined World War One in King Victor Emmanuel's efforts to conquer. King Victor had entered Italy in to the war despite most people opposing the war all entirely. After World War One, Italy was in shambles, complete economic depression and insatiability. The working class had become very bitter and tired at this point. The King needed help with stabilizing Italy once again. Benito was more then willing to help, ultimately taking advantage of the economic insatiability within Italy to start his rise to power. Young Benito Mussolini had grown into a man with revolutionary ideas and an immense amount of nationalistic pride. World War One ended and thus giving room for Mussolini’s idea of fascism. |
